Diamond Select Toys has made the first ever Jane Foster action figure in their Marvel Select Thor: The Dark World movie line. The figure features the likeness of actress Natalie Portman as she portrayed the character in the latest Thor film currently out.
At New York Comic-Con 2013, we had asked DST Zach why Jane Foster was chosen over a movie villain, and his answer was that certain characters like Kurse was not available to them, and that since Jane Foster had a long history with Thor in the comics, and that they wanted to make the figure with the likeness of Natalie Portman for fans, she seemed to be their best choice.

Sculpt and Paint:
Jane Foster features an all new sculpt with a second interchangeable head and display base. Her regular head sculpt is absolutely beautiful with the likeness of Actress of Natalie Portman. The second head features has black eyes and is a bit darker since she us under the possession of the Aether.
Her blue outfit with black wash is made out of rubber and it is Thor’s mother gave her to ware on Asguard. The vest, wrist guards and shoulder pads have some line work tooled into them.
The display base is the second piece needed to combine with the one that came with Thor (see gallery below). This piece includes a separate black piece that connects to it and sticks out over the rocks. This piece does not snap in and falls rather easily.

Ball jointed head, ball jointed shoulders, ball jointed and hinged elbows, swivel hands, ball jointed hips, swivel knees, swivel ankles.

Overall:
This is absolutely a beautifully sculpted and detailed action figure and resembles the likeness perfectly.
