As Hasbro had promised, the 8″ Marvel Legends Build-A-Figures are back for 2014. Starting with Ultimate Green Goblin as the build-a-figure for this wave, Hasbro has not confirmed any more 4″ build-a-figures at this time and if all goes well, we could expect to see only 8″ figures from here on out. The downside of this is that the price has gone up to $19.99 per figure. Hasbro starts the new year with two Marvel Legends Infinite Series waves with one for The Amazing Spider-Man, and one for Captain America.
Ultimate Green Goblin is from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and comic book series and has become very popular with fans and children. In order to build this figure, it would require that parents and collectors are willing to purchase all 6 figures from the wave in order to own this figure at $120-$160 for the set.

Sculpt:
Ultimate Green Goblin has an all-new sculpt, which requires assembly with the purchase of the 6 figures listed above or below (where to buy). He has a highly detailed sculpt with two horns at the top of his head, with bumps on his scalp and forehead, with additional horns under his chin and around the bottom his face, shoulders, and forearms. Under his chin are teeth that reach from ear to ear.
All over his chest, back, pants, and feet are tiny lines sculpted on to give him some texture and detail. He also has flame attachments for his arms and back that clip on. The flame attachments are made of hard plastic and also are translucent orange and red.
Paint:
Ultimate Green Goblin is painted with a dark green flesh tone, blue ripped jeans, tan horns, and orange and red flame attachments.
Articulation:
Ball jointed head, ball jointed shoulders, swivel arms, hinged biceps, ball jointed wrists, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, hinged knees, pivot ankles.
Accessories:
Three flame attachments (two for wrists, one of for back).
Overall:
Norman Osborn is by far one of the best Spidey villains of all time. Any Green Goblin figure is more than welcome especially a character from an alternate reality from the 616 Universe. Hasbro has done a great job!
