Hasbro’s new Marvel Legends Captain America line are flying off the shelves with usually leaving this one figure behind. With no Mandroid build-a-figure parts included, and a retail price of $19.99, collectors have few reasons to pick up this particular figure unless they purchase it in a case assortment, or are a completists. What you might not know is that Hasbro already released this figure as a Wal-Mart exclusive a couple of years ago when the first movie came out, and now he does not include his rifle.

Sculpt & Paint:
WW2 Captain America is a reissue from the Wal-Mart exclusive Marvel Legends Captain America: The First Avenger line.
He features lots of texture sculpted onto his blue suit, detailed folds in his dirty white undershirt, arms, and pants, red suspenders sculpted over the undershirt, a brown gun holster for his handgun, a detailed brown belt, boots, and grey straps around his back and chest.
His matte finish shield does not have standard peg hole clip, but instead has two straps for his arm to fit through.
Articulation:
Ball hinged head, ball jointed ab crunch, ball hinge shoulders, double jointed elbows, swivel biceps, swivel hinge wrists, hinged and swivel hips, swivel thighs, hinged knees, hinged and swivel ankles.

Overall:
Since this figure is a reissue, has no Mandroid build-a-figure parts, costs $19.99, does not include the rifle included with the first release, and is packed two per case when other characters are packed out as one and those are the one’s that sell fast, it’s hard to recommend this figure. We think he’s a nice figure, but we don’t like how he’s been reissued.
