A Captain America themed Marvel Legends line won’t be complete without a movie based toy in the line. Hasbro included three different Captain America (Marvel Now!, WW2, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier movie) action figures in a line that has 9 figures plus the 10th being the build-a-figure (Mandroid). It may be a bit too many Cap figures for some fans, but in the eye’s of retailers the only figures that actually sell are the big named characters (which we learned is not true as we’ve reported that WW2 Captain America has no build-a-figure piece and is the last to sell on the pegs, holding up more cases from coming).
This new movie based figure features an incredible sculpt, two heads, two sets of interchangeable hands, and a blue shield.

Sculpt & Paint:
Captain America features an all new sculpt and is based on Captain America: The Winter Soldier movie costume and likeness. He includes two interchangeable heads (helmeted, and a Chris Evans head with great likeness to the actor), and 2 sets of interchangeable hands (two closed fisted, one open “chop” position, and one closed with a finger pointing). The shield can only fit the open “chop” position hand and the straps do not work with any of the close fisted hands or the hand with a finger pointing.
Painted on his costume is the name Rogers on the left shoulder facing the front, and the American flag above that. The right shoulder he has the Shield logo on the side. The costume is painted mostly in blue, with black, brown boots, belt, gloves and straps, and red on both sides of the legs. His shield is painted in a light blue with a a dark blue center, and grey with tiny bolts at the tips of the stars.
Articulation:
Ball jointed hinged head, ball jointed hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, doube-hinged elbows, hinged and swivel hands, ab crunch, ball jointed hips, waist rotation, swivel thighs, double-hunged legs, hinged and swivel ankles.

2 heads, 2 sets of hands, Shield.
Overall:
Captain America features an incredible sculpt and Hasbro has given fans a great figure. It’s a shame that Falcon was not included in this line to possibly replace WW2 Captain America though.
