Dragonsky did not have a vintage 1980’s or 90’s action figure, and was not offered as an action figure until 2005 and then again in 2006. This release is based closer to the Marvel Comic Book G.I. Joe series with all reused parts from older G.I. Joe action figures.
Availability: March 2014
Sculpt & Paint:
Dragonsky uses the head sculpt as Tiger Force Airtight, and uses reused parts from older G.I. Joe action figures. The helmet is reused from an old Rise Of Cobra helmet that is rather too tight for him. The peg on his tanks is also a tight fit to put inside the hole on his back, but the flamethrower itself fits pretty well into his hands.
He is painted in light purple and darker purple uniform, with a grey tank and flamethrower, and a translucent flame.
Articulation:
Standard for modern G.I. Joe action figures.
Accessories:
Removable helmet, flamethrower, flame burst, connection hose with backpack, assault rifle, and figure stand.
Overall:
There are some concerns as this mold and some of the parts are not 100% accurate to the character, but we feel he’s still a nice enough looking figure to warrant purchasing.
Recommended if you own the Oktober Guard box set.
