The first offering of the Ultra size DC Total Heroes set by Mattel is out now and only available on Mattycollector. While the retail line will consist of more common and better known characters, the Mattycollector line will consist of the expanded universe of DC with characters not as recognizable to the general public as Jon Stewart or Batman Beyond.

Sculpt & Paint:
The figure has the same body as Hal Jordan, and the only difference is the three new head sculpts for Jon Stewart, Green Man, and Tomar-Re. The head sculpts have an animated look to them, and the heads for Green Man and Tomar-Re are slightly not in scale with the body and are too small. This does work for the punching and flying hands as those too are small and not proportional. Jon Stewart’s head is the correct size for the body as are the gripping hands.
A Green Lantern always needs his constructs, and Mattel spared no expense by giving him three to choose from as well as a connector that connects to the figures hand on one side, and the construct on the other by a peg. The connector is about 6″ long and this gives fans many different ways to pose and display this figure.
The body is painted in his Green Lantern Corps green and black uniform. The sculpt and paint show a more animated look and does not include the ab crunch, swivel biceps and swivel thighs that DC Universe Classics had. Green Man and Tomar-Re have masks painted on their faces, while Jon Stewart does not.
Articulation:
Swivel head, ball jointed shoulders, hinged elbows, swivel wrists, swivel waist, hinged and swivel hips, hinged knees, and hinged ankles.
Accessories:
Includes three sets of heads (Jon Sewart, Green Man, Tomar-Re, three sets of hands (punching, gripping and flying), construct connector, three constructs (closed fisted, saw and pliers).
Overall:
Depending on if you collect Green Lantern figures, we would suggest picking up this set. Green Man was not offered in DC Universe Classics (we won’t bring up the movie line), so this is your chance to get a 6″ figure of him.
