This past G.I. JoeCon brought back two G.I. Joe Retaliation vehicles, the Rescue Ops 4×4 Vamp Jeep, and the AWE Striker, that was the free vehicle included in the box set and given to attendees only. The Rescue Ops 4×4 Vamp Jeep uses the same mold as the 2012 Ninja Combat Cruiser with a machine gun on top that replaced the missile launcher.
Availability: April 10th-13th 2014 – Sold Out After JoeCon
Sculpt & Paint:
The Rescue Ops 4×4 Vamp Jeep uses the same mold as the Ninja Combat Cruiser from G.I. Joe Retaliation and features pivoting doors, and a machine gun that replaced the 4 missile firing launcher. Just like the previous release, the roof can be listed off rather easily as this was a cheaper alternative for Hasbro compared to the V.A.M.P. MK II from 2011.
This release is painted black and grey, with Compound Z blood painted onto the hood and above the back tires.
Accessories:
Machine gun, ammo, antenna
Overall:
When fighting zombies, it’s imperative to have heavily armored vehicles to support troops that are also well equipped with weapons. However, when it comes to the Ninja Combat Cruiser mold, it’s too cheaply made and it just does not compare to the awesome 2011 V.A.M.P. MK II release.
Highly Recommended.
