Joe Colton is the founder of the G.I. Joe team and made his debut in a business suit at G.I. JoeCon 2014. He was available loose with the 12″ figure set, or sold in a single card for $30.00. Those that did not attend the show are out of luck as he was one of the first exclusives to have sold out this year. Thankfully, we picked him up for review purposes. What better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of G.I. Joe then with a Joe Colton figure in 4″ scale?

Sculpt & Paint:
Joe Colton uses the same business suit as the SDCC G.I. Joe Retaliation exclusive Destro action figure and Marvel Universe Professor X. We have to thank a guy named Dan that I met at the dinner at JoeCon for that insight. The jacket has the clip removed to make it open instead of closed. The jacket is removable and there is a holster strap that is also removable around his chest underneath the jacket.
His head is reused from The Adventure Team and gives him a nice homage to the 12″ figure. It would have been nice if the club had given him a new head for a modern update.
Joe Colton is painted in a blue suit, white shirt, black tie and shoes.
