Battle Lion, an ancestor of Cringer and King Grayskull’s loyal companion from the 200X series makes his debut for the first-time as an action figure in Mattel’s Masters of the Universe Classics line.

Sculpt & Paint:
Battle Lion’s head sculpt features a very large mane with a lot of detail sculpted on. His face is sculpted in a snarling position, his teeth rub against each other from top to bottom, and the mouth is supposed to pivot at the jaw, but because the teeth are rubbing it leaves you not wanting to move it that much. The armor is 200X inspired and can also be used on Battle Cat to give him a 200X update.
King Grayskull can fit onto the saddle (the cape can also fit while on Battle Lion) and there is a gap where King Grayskull’s skirt fits into the saddle to help steady him.
The body is reused from Battle Cat and Panthor.

Overall:
Battle Lion is an excellent figure and we are very happy to see beasts return to Classics. This was missed last year.
