Flogg makes his anticipated debut into Masters of the Universe Classics in the 6th year of the line. Since the line began in 2009 (really 2008 if you include SDCC exclusive King Grayskull), Mattel released Optikk, Slush Head, and Karatti, and now Flogg. New Adventures Skeletor is also confirmed for August 2014. While the Space Mutants have seen more releases compared to the Galactic Protectors, Mattel needs to find a way of getting more of a complete team for both factions in 2015-2016 if in fact the line makes it that long. With the release of Flogg, we have a new appreciation for the Space Mutants and hope to see more of them released. These will look great on shelves regardless if you are a fan of New Adventures or not.
At this point, we need Butthead, Hoove, Lizorr, Nordor, Quakke, and Sagitar of the Space Mutants to complete the vintage line. For the Galactic Protectors, we need Artilla, Nocturna, Spinwit, Tuskador, and Vizar. This does not count A-list variants of characters or vehicles.
While most of the above characters will likely never see a release in Classics style, a few might as long as fans support it. Flogg is an important release as he is the Commander of the Space Mutants before Skeletor took leadership, then Flogg became Skeletor’s second in command.

Sculpt & Paint:
Flogg includes shared and newly sculpted parts including chest armor, thighs, lower legs, head, and accessories. His chest armor is removable with a painted chest underneath, and looks disproportional to the arms and legs as the chest armor is made to fit to scale with the rest of the body. The body armor resembles an alien space suit with technology sculpted on it. The forearms and legs are reused from the Horde Trooper and really blends in nicely with the overall design.
His head sculpt is painted purple with a silver helmet and big bug eyes. His neck and upper chest are also painted purple with reptile texture. His laser whip is an odd accessory and looks more like a fishing poll, with controls at the top. Included behind the figure in the packaging is He-Man’s Filmation Power Sword that is slightly shorter than the previous Power Sword release.

Bio:
Real Name: Brakk
Before Skeletor® passed though the Laser Gate and arrived in the Tri-Solar System, Flogg™ the Terrible was the commander of the Horde’s Denebrian Space Mutant goon squad. Directing operations either from his secret hideout in a Gorn Crater or from his camp city of Diobo in the Regula region of Denebria, Flogg™ launched raiding parties on the neighboring planet of Primus in the name of his Horde commanders. A vain and boastful bully, Flogg’s favorite weapon is his laser whip which he calls The Sidewinder. Flogg™ has a nasty temper and agreed to join Skeletor® as his humbled second in command in a secret bid to one day betray him and use Skeletor’s power to take command of the Horde Empire for his own!
Overall:
Flogg is an excellent figure and the overall look and reused parts work well on him.
Highly Recommended.
