Toys “R” Us is now starting to receive shipments of G.I. Joe Kre-O Blind Bags Collection 5 from Hasbro. Unlike the previous first 3 waves, this wave is actually blind bagged without a figure code, and the easy to open pre-cut tab was removed leaving the only way to open these is with a scissor.
While Collection 4 is currently missing and we hope to have answers for you during our coverage of Hasbro’s New York Comic-Con press event, collection 5 might be the start of this endeavor to own all the G.I. Joe Kre-O figures.
Having just bought 22 blind bags and spent around $88, we are very upset with Hasbro for changing the blind bags, as the code on the bag revealing who was inside was the way to go. Blind Bags work as a marketing strategy, but not for consumers trying to own at least one of everything. The code on the back of these blind bags are 41951, and it’s the same code for all of them.
