Wishlist Wednesday - Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Irma Action Figure

Irma was introduced to a new generation on the Nickelodeon Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and was also a classic character in the original series. Unlike the classic character, this new version of Irma was actually a Kraang spy called Kraang Subprime that was ordered to go undercover and befriend April O’Neil to learn the whereabouts of the Turtles secret lair.

In the episode The Invasion Part 1, April and Irma were chased by Kraang droids and April brought Irma down to the lair, only to learn that Irma was a Kraang droid herself and sent out a signal that launched the invasion of not only the Turtles lair, but New York City itself. Which led the Turtle, April O’Neil, and Casey Jones to retreat to April’s cabin where the show is currently taking place.

At the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles panel at New York Comic-Con 2014, Nickelodeon confirmed that Irma will not return to the series. If you recall in The Invasion Part 1, Kraang Subprime was most likely killed by Master Splinter.

If Playmates Toys would consider making an Irma action figure, it would likely take them a year and a half before she gets released. Since she is also a human character, we’re thinking that not every child would want it, so we’re thinking that it might be best to release her as a San Diego Comic-Con 2016 exclusive, which would just be targeted to the adult collectors and they could possibly pack in a Kraang Subprime figure. Since she was also in the classic series and Playmates Toys have released action figures of all the characters shown in the classic series and re-imagined for this new show, Irma is the only character left not to have an action figure. Other characters included in the original line and had appearances and toys made in the Nickelodeon series include the Turtles, Splinter, April O’Neil, Casey Jones, Metalhead, Shredder, Robotic Foot Soldier, Kraang, Rocksteady, Bebop, Slash, Wingnut, Mutagen Man, Baxter Stockman, Mousers, and The Rat King.

This week, we are asking Playmates Toys to consider making an Irma action figure as an exclusive with a Kraang Subprime figure packed in.
