Target Stores are offering a Star Wars Rebels Exclusive The Phantom Attack Shuttle with Kanan Jarrus figure packed in for $24.99 and available in stores right now, if you can track one down. We’ve noticed that despite 5 points of articulation, Star Wars Rebels basic figures and vehicles are flying off the shelves.
Kanan Jarrus, born Caleb Dume, was a Human male Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66. Going into hiding, he forsook the Jedi ways for some time, swapping his blue-bladed lightsaber for a blaster. Eventually, he would come to command the VCX-100 light freighter Ghost several years before the Battle of Yavin. While cocky and often sarcastic, Jarrus was eager to help out and fight the Galactic Empire. Five years before the Battle of Yavin, Jarrus met Ezra Bridger, a fourteen-year-old Force-sensitive Human, whom he decided to mentor.

Sculpt & Paint:
The Phantom Attack Shuttle is an all new tooled vehicle and features an opening cockpit, pivoting wings, firing missile launcher, extending laser cannons, and figure compartment in the back to store Ezra and Chopper (or another character other than Zebb, whom does not fit, and Chopper). The missiles inside the wings can be removed manually and there are two points of pivots to the wings. The Cockpit can hold one figure, in this case Kanan, since he was included.
As far as accuracy goes, Hasbro got it right and we were happy to see this vehicle get made. The Ghost seems a bit of a stretch since it would have a lot more features and retailers don’t seem to want the larger more expensive vehicles.
Kanan has the same sculpt and colors as the single basic carded figure and the Toys “R” Us Exclusive Star Wars Rebels Mission Series The Ghost Pack and includes his double-bladed lightsaber. There are no differences between the 3 different releases of this figure. He has 5 points of articulation and has a great show accurate sculpt. Kanan has a blaster that cannot be removed from the holster attached to his belt.

Overall:
The The Phantom Attack Shuttle is an excellent starship and one we feel that fans should track down. The vehicle has some great features and we love the fact that up to 3 figures can be stored in it considering it’s class size.
As far as 5 points of articulation for the figures, limiting articulation for the Rebels line hurts the quality of the line overall in our opinion, despite the fact that these are selling regardless. Regardless of this, this is still a great set.
