One of the most fan requested characters from the Walking Dead franchise is Clementine, and fans were treated to a special announcement at this years The Walking Dead panel at New York Comic-Con in October. Clementine is exclusive to Skybound and comes in two different versions – clean and bloodied.
Clementine is based on TellTales The Walking Dead video game and the figure is based at the end of Season 2 and is sculpted by McFarlane Toys. The game is set in the same universe as Robert Kirkman’s The Walking Dead Comic Book Series.
Availability: December 2014
Sculpt & Paint:
Clementine includes an all-new sculpt and is based at the end of the second season of TellTales The Walking Dead video game. She comes in a clean and bloody variant version and features her baseball cap, purple shirt, a backpack, and comes with a pistol, and a hammer.
Her clothing is sculpted with realistic folds and texture. The bloody version includes blood stains on her shirt, pants, shoes, backpack, pistol, hammer, hands and face. Both versions has a blood stained hat.
On the clean version, she comes with two right hands as shown below, which is undoubtedly a factory error.
Articulation:
Ball-jointed head, ball-jointed hinged shoulders, hinged-swivel elbows, ball-jointed thighs, hinged-swivel knees.
Accessories:
Removable backpack, pistol, hammer.
Overall:
Clementine is an excellent figure and we hope to see more video game characters make it into the line. We were disappointing that she does not include wrist or ankle articulation, which she desperately needs. Standing her up can also be a bit of a challenge without ankle articulation and there is also the limit of the range of motion with her thighs.
Highly Recommended.
