Wishlist Wednesday – DC Collectibles New 52 Vixen Action Figure

Ever since Mattel cancelled their DC Infinite Earths Signature Collection Subscription, we’ve felt that of the library of DC Comics characters out there there were a few characters on our personal short list that never made the cut. One of which was Vixen. While Mattel and DC Collectibles would have had different style of figures in different costumes, we feel that both lines look great together.

With DC Collectibles launching their New 52 line of 6″ action figures, we were very excited that they would tackle this new style and possibly release some of those characters not offered. So far they’ve done pretty well with character choices. While we would also love to see more Green Lantern characters as stated in a previous Wishlist Wednesday article, there are still some core Justice League members to get too. Vixen hasn’t had too many action figure releases with one from DC Direct (now DC Collectibles), and a Justice League Unlimited release from Mattel. This is odd considering she’s a character used in the comics many times, a fan-favorite, and a core member of the Justice League.

The Vixen image shown above is a statue from DC Collectibles Cover Girl Statue Series. If they were to make a 6″ New 52 action figure, the figure would probably look very similar to the statue with added articulation and possible accessories.
