The Creeper is based on the episode “Beware The Creeper,” which marked the transformation of Jack Ryder into The Creeper at the hands of The Joker. The title of the episode also dates back to the 1968 origin story of The Creeper in. Later on in Justice League Unlimited, The Creeper returned in several cameo appearances.
DC Collectibles is doing a fantastic job so far with choosing what characters to put into the line, as well as keeping their word on quality control, as the figure doesn’t appear to have any QC issues.
Availability: April 2015
Sculpt & Paint:
The Creeper features interchangeable hands (fisted, open, and partially open), and includes a pool stick, mouse, figure stand, and Batman mask with face. The figure is pretty much accurate to the show, and there is great likeness to his head sculpt as well as the costume and deco.
The Creeper is painted with yellow skin, red fur, green and black striped shorts, and green and black hair.
Articulation:
Ball-jointed head, swivel shoulders, hinged-swivel elbows, hinged-swivel wrists, swivel waist, hinted-swivel hips, hinged knees, hinged-swivel ankles.
Accessories:
Interchangeable hands, pool stick, mouse, Batman mask with face, figure stand.
Overall:
The Creeper is an excellent figure and has a great likeness to his appearance on the animated series. You definitely want to pick one up if not to complete your Batman collection, but to start your Bruce Timm style Justice League Unlimited collection.
Highly Recommended.
