Bandai continues to impress us with their S.H. Figuarts Dragonball Z line and Android 16 is no exception. Android 16 is the first of our reviews of this line and we plan to bring you additional reviews in the future.

Sculpt & Paint:
Android 16 features a great sculpt with removable forearms that become arm cannons, interchangeable heads, and is based on the likeness to the animated series. His head sculpt includes four heads (battle damage with mohawk attached, shouting, and two very similar heads with a different lip sculpt) and are all sculpted to represent different scenes from the animated series.
He also comes with interchangeable hands with fisted, and open and attach to the removable forearms on a ball-joint. The sculpt itself is smooth with some sculpted texture at the center of the chest, and also on the fragile side.
Android 16 is painted in a lime green vest and armor, a dark blue outfit, RR (Red Ribbon) army logo on his chest, and orange hair.
Articulation:
Ball-jointed head, ball-jointed hinged shoulders, hinged biceps, removable forearms, ball-jointed wrists, ball-jointed chest, ball-jointed hips, hinged knees, rocker ankles, hinged toes.
Accessories:
Four head sculpts (battle damage (with non-removable mohawk), screaming, two similar with a different lip sculpt. Removable mohawk piece for the other three heads.
Two sets of hands (open, fisted).
Overall:
Android 16 is a great figure and we are more than happy with the product. The fact that they included four heads, and two sets of hands is a lot of accessories and well worth the retail price.
On a side note, we would like to acquire Android’s 17 and 18 and need our readers help to obtain them on the cheap side. Any help would be appreciated.
