SDCC 2015 Exclusive October Toys Deluxe Bone Titan Skeleton Review

SDCC 2015 Exclusive October Toys Deluxe Bone Titan Skeleton 14

October Toys Skeleton Warriors Glyos Compatible action figures were initially funded through Kickstarter last year and. In celebration of Skeleton Warriors 20th Anniversary, October Toys very own George and Ayleen Gasper had worked on creating a prototype along with the prototype painter, Michael Cowart, had worked very long hours in the development process to give fans the best possible Baron Dark and Titan Skeleton figures possible.

Skeleton Warrior debut back in 1994 and only aired for 13 episodes on CBS. While the show had too short a life, with a great toy line, the property and characters live on in 2015.

For SDCC, October Toys brought an exclusive Deluxe Bone Titan Skeleton figure with added deco and detail. While the figure is sold out at October Toys, we provided some links to eBay below where you can purchase additional Skeleton Warriors action figures from the vintage line.

Thank you to October Toys for providing the Deluxe Bone Titan Skeleton figure for review.

Availability: San Diego Comic-Con 2015

Sculpt:

The Deluxe Bone Titan Skeletons are Glyos Compatible and are capable of breaking apart at the head, neck, shoulders, biceps, wrists, stomach, hips, knee, and feet. In our gallery below, we did not show everything as some of this needed excessive force to break apart, which is never a good idea for a toy.

The Bone Titan Skeleton stands at 5″ tall and was repainted using a more realistic detailed deco compared to the previous figures, and painted in a similar way to Baron Dark himself.

Articulation:

ball-jointed head, swivel-hinged shoulder, swivel-hinged biceps, swivel-hinged wrists, double swivel chest, swivel-hinged hips, swivel-hinged knees, and ball-jointed feet.

Overall:

This is a property that is long overdue for a comeback in someway, and October Toys have done an incredible job sculpting and re-creating the character with today’s articulation and detail. It’s also a plus he can break apart in over a dozen different joints

Highly Recommended.
