Funko’s 2015 Summer Convention Exclusive Jaws Box Set includes bloody versions of Jaws and an exclusive Quint figure with a machete. This years Funko offerings at Comic-Con were pretty good, and while we could not obtain any at the show, they make it easy for people as these are also shipping to retailers including Toys “R” Us, Hot Topic. Barns & Noble, and other outlets.
This set is based on the original classic Jaws from 1975, and recreates the scene in the movie where Quint gets killed and eaten.

Sculpt & Paint:
There are two versions of this box set, one with a bloody Great White Shark that comes with Quint, and the other includes a gas tank. The shark is made of vinyl and has a great representation from the movie with the bloody mouth all over his lips and spread to his sides and at the bottom. The shark has a pivoting jaw, and can swallow a ReAction figure hole. The bloody version of Quint includes a new head sculpt with a bandana and hair, instead of a cap. While there are no exposed organs on his sculpt, as he is being eaten, he is splattered in blood on his face, arms, chest, and legs. He also includes a machete, which has no blood on it.
Brody features the likeness of the late Actor Roy Scheider, and is sculpted in his ran jacket, black tee shirt, and blue jeans. He includes a pistol and rifle. His head sculpt includes silver glasses with no lens, and there is also a black watch on his left wrist.
Hooper features the likeness of Richard Dreyfuss, and is sculpted light blue shirt, grey tee shirt, and blue jeans, His head sculpt includes brown hair, beard, mustache, a silver glasses with no lens. He also features a silver watch on his left wrist and includes a camera that goes around his neck.
Quint features the likeness of the late Actor Robert Shaw, who passes away in 1978, only three years after the movie came out. His head sculpt includes a hat, and he is sculpted in a green green jacket, blue shirt, and dark tan pants. This version of the figure also includes a harpoon gun.
Overall:
The Jaws ReAction figure line from Funko is one of our personal favorite summer 2015 offerings from the company and they did a great job capturing the likeness of each character including the Great White. The ReAction line is best suited for films and Tv shows from the 60’s, 70’s, a 80’s in our opinion and we are very pleased with final products.
