Sculpt & Paint:
The box set is based on the original 1980’s comic book series from Mirage Comics by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird.
Each figure shares the same sculpt and deco and does not include the letter of their name on the belt, which was also in the original comics, and the only way to tell them apart are their facial expressions, iconic weapons and the sheaths on the their back. They each have the standard Minimate block, with a shell/chest piece that sits over the body to give them an accurate look. Each Minimates figure is painted in green, brown, yellow, and comes with a red bandana and a grey and black sewer lid stand.
Leonardo includes two Katanas, Raphael includes two sais, Donatello includes a bo staff, Michelangelo includes two spinning nunchucks, two bent nunchucks and each figure includes a sewer lid figure stand.
Overall:
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Minimates Mirage Box Set is an excellent offering worth picking up.
