Hasbro’s movie inspired Avengers: Age of Ultron figure line-up continues in this exclusive Amazon.com with figures of Thor, Bruce Banner, Black Widow, and Hawkeye all updated in their new costumes. Bruce Banner is an exceptional release in this set as he is the first movie-inspired version with the likeness of Actor Mark Ruffalo (not counting the Hulk).

Hasbro reused the previous Black Widow sculpt with the sculpted pistols at her sides, and introduced the new blue deco on her costume and she includes two batons. It’s a nice looking sculpt with some texture and smooth parts, straps around her thighs. Additional details to the sculpt includes a zipper, wrist guards, and belt that supports the holders with the pistols. Her ankles are difficult to move and her feet are a bit too small, which makes it pretty much impossible to get her to stand on her own. Her head sculpt features the likeness of Actress Scarlett Johansson with long red hair.
Thor features the likeness of Actor Chris Hemsworth and has a repainted armor to match the on screen version. The armor has some great sculpting that you can’t see since most of it was painted black, but the silver help brings out some of the designs in the suit. His cape is a good fit and he able to stand without difficulty. He also features some nicely sculpted and painted gauntlets and includes his hammer.
Hawkeye features the likeness of Actor Jeremy Renner and released in his movie-accurate black and purple suit. The chest part of the suit has all texture sculpted on and the suit is painted in black and purple on the chest with a silver belt buckle. His right forearm have straps around it and his left hand has a strap around the wrist, which continue over his hand and protects three of his fingers for firing arrows. He includes his bow and arrow as previously seen with the existing movie figure. His left eye ball has some bleeding and it makes the head sculpt look a little funny. This probably isn’t a wide spread issue.
The reason to buy this set is Bruce Banner, as he captures the likeness of Actor Mark Ruffalo. Hasbro did a terrific job on this figure and it’s too bad they don’t release too many human characters without superhero costumes or anything. Bruce Banner is really a stepping stone for other characters we want to see like J. Jonah Jameson, Mary Jane, Avengers movie-accurate Steve Rogers in civilian gear, and many others.
Bruce is sculpted in a black suit, purple shirt, and blue panes, with a brown belt, and shoes.
Overall:
Hasbro did an incredible job on this 4 pack and we hope to see more movie and comic based sets like this released just like this. We are thrilled with Bruce Banner finally making his movie figure debut and hope to see additional civilian characters down the road.
