New York Comic-Con had delayed our Wishlist Wednesday feature to the site a couple of weeks, and we are getting back on track to making this a weekly edition to the site.
AMC’s Season 6 of The Walking Dead is taking it the next level with none stop action so far in only two episodes and last weeks episode, “JSS,” which stands for Just Survive Somehow, was one of the most action packed non-stop thrilling episodes of the series.
With Rick Grimes and most of his group and Alexadrians gone and leading walkers away from the town, the Wolves decide to invade and begin slaughtering everyone they see. It takes the quick action of several members left behind from Rick’s group, Carol, Carl, Rosita, Tara, and Maggie quickly spring to action and begin fighting off the intruders. They were later joined by Morgan, who was asked to return from Rick and he begins stepping in and using non-lethal tactics to fight off the Wolves.
One of the episodes highlights was the transformation of Carol, as she shown going from suburban house woman to an all-out warrior killing every wolf that crosses her path. After killing one of them and attempting to save a fellow Alexandrian, she uses his clothing to disguise herself to blend in among the wolves, allowing herself to get close to them and open fire. Carol shows just how cold-blooded she can be in the apocalypse as she not only kills wolves, but dying Alexandrians as well as they don’t have to worry about them turning into walkers during or after the fight.
Carol and the other members of Rick’s group are not the only character that stepped up in the episode, as Jessie kills an invading Wolf in her home that threatens the lives of her two boys. She now also understands the true nature of the world, kill or be killed.
On Talking Dead, they did a poll and fans voted the Wolves disguise Carol as being their favorite version of her over the Terminus bloody/walker guts disguise and suburban house woman. This version definitely calls for an action figure and we are asking McFarlane Toys to begin production on one immediately!
