Following their successful Kickstarter campaign last year, Warpo Toys were able to launch their Legends of Cthulhu toy line. Available now at online retailers and through Diamond Comic Distributions is the first wave of their 3 3/4″ line, which includes The Professor, Spawn of Cthulhu, Cultist, and Deep One. Also available is a 12″ Cthulhu figure, that’s also available as a Diamond exclusive with a glow-in-the-dark feature.
Legends Of Cthulhu is based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft that look identical to their 1970’s/80’s retro counterparts.
Each figure has 5 points of articulation and come packaged on vintage style blister card.

The Professor – The hero of the story, The Professor is lead by a strange dream that leads him to a mysterious mountain. There he finds himself surrounded by the minions of Cthulhu. He is sculpted in a beige suit, and brown coat, a brown hat, black shoes and gloves. His head sculpt features a black mustache, black hair, and has a smooth basic tooling on the face. His arms are sculpted in a curved position and he has pouches on the sides of his coat. Included is a revolver and Cthulhu idol that he can hold.
Cultist – The Cthulhu Worshipper, is sculpted in a plastic red cape that can be removed, and a red and grey robe, with a black chain on his chest. His face and hand skin tone is white and looks ghoulish, with white eyes, and a pale expression on his face. He includes a staff, dagger, and a removable ceremonial mask with the likeness of Cthulhu.
Spawn of Cthulhu – The minion of Lord Cthulhu is a scaled down 3 3/4″ figure of the 12″ version, which features the same green skin tone and bumpy skin. His head sculpt has a tall brain-shape look to it, with tentacles as his mouth and red eyes. As we noted, his skin is covered in bumps and he features removable snap-on wings and includes a Necronomicon book.
Deep One – The lizard-like servant of Cultist, has the appearance of a small sea-like monster with a finn on his back, ears, elbows, and calves, and painted in a blue and beige skin. The creature has a rough and bumpy skin tone and given that he can live underwater and on land, he looks the part, which is most important. His head sculpt has a big mouth that reaches across the entire lower portion of his head, sharp teeth, white eyes, and a finn on the top. He includes a spear that can be held in one hand at a time.
