Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth.
Sideshow Collectibles Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure is the first figure of a new line from the company. They will be featuring highly detailed Marvel figures made with hand-tailored fabric costumes, tons of accessories, and all of the Sideshow goodness fans have come to expect.
While this version doesn’t have the Headpool accessory as the Sideshow Exclusive, we are very impressed that Sideshow could even make Headpool, as Disney have made it clear that they don’t want their Marvel heroes associated as villains, and even went as far as not allowing any new products to be made of hero zombies. They even failed to show any hero zombies in Secret Wars and its tie-ins.
Sideshow previously announced back in October that The Punisher Sixth Scale Figure is the next figure coming this time next year, and considering that they quickly sold through the exclusive version of Deadpool, and will likely do the same with the standard version, this line surely has fans supporting it.
Considering this line has just started and is doing so well for Sideshow, we are hoping to see many characters made over the years, and not just heroes too, as there are plenty of villains who deserve the Sideshow treatment. Some character suggestions would include Wolverine, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom, Mystique, Magneto, Iron Man, Hulkbuster, The Incredible Hulk (since he’s shirtless, it might not be possible to include him in this line?), Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Doctor Strange, Spider-Man, Green Goblin and/or Hobgoblin, and many others.
Thank you to Sideshow Collectibles for providing Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure for us to review. It’s greatly appreciated!

Deadpool is made on the fully articulated super studly lady magnet body and stands at 12″ tall. He is made in a hand-tailored fabric costume, which features a zipper, chest harness, knee and arm guards, two pistol holsters, and an undershirt.
Attached to the body are pouches, belt, removable knife and sheath, removable katana’s and sheaths, that are connected by using tiny clips. The clips are extremely fragile as we’ve personally experienced the pouches constantly falling off while play around with the figure, and the clips attached to the sheaths for the katana’s are attacked with a tiny bit of glue, and can fall off easily. One of our clips for the Katana’s sheath was missing right from the package, and we could not find it. So make sure to be extremely careful with anything attached with a clip.
Also included with Deadpool are interchangeable hands, interchangeable heads, assault rifle, big boomin’ balls that are attacked below the belt, word bubbles with a sticker sheet for Explicit Thoughts and Witty Words, and a figure base with stand.
Besides the clips that we talked about above, we had a difficult time switching out Deadpool’s hands, and it took us a long time to figure out that you need to swivel the hand on the peg, and not just try to put it through. Perhaps a ball joint that’s easier to put the hand through would have been a better choice?
We also want to point out that the camera that is attached to the rifle in the image above, slides into the top of the rifle, and make sure you have the large screen facing Deadpool.
Lastly, Deadpool’s word bubbles are an awesome idea. While we did not include the stickers, just having this accessory offered is a brilliant way to top off the figure. It was a little confusing at first of how to get the bubble’s to stay in place, and overall we let them stand on top of the figure stand in the back, and placed the stems through the chest harness straps to hold it in place.
Overall:
Sideshow Collectibles has done an incredible job on details and quality on their Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure. This is one Marvel figure of the year that you simply need for your collection, and we strongly urge all of you to purchase it now!
Just make sure to be extra careful with those clips that attack the pouches and sheaths to the harness.
Highly Recommended!
