During the Black Friday weekend event, McFarlane Toys and Skybound released an exclusive Alpha figure based on The Walking Dead comic books. The figure came as a surprise and was offered in two variations, color and black and white.
Alpha is the leader of The Whispers and are a mysterious group of survivors who disguise themselves with roamer skin to blend in with them and not get noticed.

This variation of Alpha is the colored version with some minor blood stains and ripped clothing including her tank top and jeans. She has two distinctive head sculpts, with decaying flesh covering her face and hair, and the other is her normal head that’s bald and painted with living flesh tone. Her clothing features realistic folds, and the torn holes and blood stains that we mention above, and includes a gold belt buckle. Included are a shotgun, and a blood stained machete.
Her articulation includes a ball jointed head, hinged-swivel shoulders, hinged-swivel elbows, ball jointed wrists, hinged-swivel hips, hinged-swivel knees, and ball jointed ankles with limited range of motion.
The black and white version of Alpha features more blood stains on her tank top, and jeans compared to the color version shown above. Since she is a repaint, she also includes the two distinctive head sculpts, with decaying flesh covering her face and hair, and the other is her normal head that’s bald and painted in grey. Her clothing features realistic folds, and theblood stains that we mention above, and includes a silver belt buckle. Included are a blood stained shotgun, and a machete with some minor blood stains.

Overall:
Alpha is an excellent figure with all the great sculpting and detailing that you can expect from McFarlane Toys. Now that she is a figure, it’s a good sign that The Whisperers will make their debut in AMC’s The Walking Dead.
