DC Collectibles released the second wave of their highly anticipated Icons line that fills in the gap for DC fans wanting to buy DC Comics characters in their classic outfits. Available now are The Flash, Lex Luthor, Blue Beetle, Black Adam, and Green Lantern Hal Jordan.

Sculpt & Paint:
Barry Allen The Flash measures roughly 6″ tall and is sculpted with a thin/lean body, and based on his appearance from the 1980’s Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline.
Just like all previous Icons figures, his tooling is 100% new and the tooling on the costume and head sculpt is very well done. His head sculpt includes a red mask that protects his identity, and his ears are covered with the Flash symbol that are also a bit too big, and should have been lower to match the source material.
His body is lean and muscular, and is painted in a red matte finish with the lightning bolt across his abs and forearms. At the center of his chest, is his iconic symbol with a white circle, and a yellow lightning bolt sculpted over his body. His boots are painted in a yellow glossy finish with the Flash symbols on the sides.
His treadmill is an excellent bonus accessory, and features a great sculpt with some realistic machinery. The computer monitor snaps on the side, so Flash can run without having to face the monitor.
Articulation:
ball-socket head, swivel-hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double hinged elbows, swivel-hinged and removable wrists, ball jointed chest, lower ab crunch, ball jointed hips, double hinged knees, and hinged-swivel rocker ankles.

Overall:
The Flash is an excellent figure, a great paint job, and a great sculpt. The only problem that we have is with his head sculpt, which is slightly off from the source material as stated above.
The treadmill is an excellent value given his normal MSRP of $24.99, as it’s large enough so the Flash can create some nice looking poses on it.
