Last year, Marvel Comics launched their 2015 event – Secret Wars. This was an all-new story that had obliterated all of reality, and had merged fragments of each realm into one Universe with fractured battlegrounds, with Lord Doom controlling them all.
This wave includes Iron Man 2020 and Ultron from Avengers: Age of Ultron, Old Man Logan and Maestro Hulk of Future Imperfect, Captain Marvel from A-Force and Thor from Thor Corps, Dazzler from A-Force and Howard the Duck.

Jane Foster Thor features a removable helmet with a blonde hair piece attached to it, Mjölnir, a flying stand, and an acrylic figure stand. Her cape is attached to her shoulders, but is also removable. Her clothing features a skirt that is attached to her hips, as well as a grey and black outfit painted to her body with some nicely detailed line work.
Captain Marvel features a removable helmet and hair piece, so you can display her in two different ways. Her painted face looks almost exactly like Thor’s, and she is painted in her blue, red, and green uniform, with blade deco highlights. She also includes an acrylic figure stand.
Maestro Hulk features a broad chest sculpt that is placed over the standard Minimate body. His feet are also larger and his legs are placed into them, and his thighs also have a clip on piece that makes them look larger. His head piece is also removable, and includes white hair around a bald spot. The shoulders also have a larger piece over the standard Minimate parts. Maestro is painted in green, with gold bracelets and necklace, brown shorts, and black deco highlights. He also includes an acrylic figure stand.
Old Man Logan features a removable trench coat and interchangeable arms, so you can display him in two different ways. The lab coat prevents most of his arm articulation as the sleeves get in the way. The lab coat can be removed by first removing the head, then lifting the coat over the body. Once removed, you can see his red tank top and grey pants. The claws cannot be removed from the arm, and he comes with a removable white hair piece. The belt is also a separate piece, that is placed over the legs. He also includes an acrylic figure stand.
Raging Ultron is painted in grey, silver, black, and red, and his hand and feet are given larger Minimate pieces that fit over the body. The rest of his body includes a standard Minimate buck, with some of the most detailed deco in the wave. His head sculpt looks great with the red deco inside his mouth and eyes, and the red orb on his chest looks superb. Included is an acrylic figure stand.
Iron-Man 2020 features a removable helmet and comes with a black hair piece for Tony Stark. His armor is painted in gold and red, and he has some nicely detailed parts over the Minimate body, which looks accurate to the comics. He includes a flying stand and an acrylic figure stand.
Dazzler is painted in her white outfit with some grey highlights, and includes a microphone. Her feet have roller blades, and the figure stand can’t fit. There is a collar/necklace piece that is placed under her neck, and her hair piece is very long, wavy, and nicely done. The deco on her face is also nicely done with the blue eye liner around her eyes.
Howard The Duck features a slightly shorter body sculpt, with duck feet, and his hat is attached to his head and cannot be removed. His head sculpt is nicely done with a long orange beak, and the paint on the eyes are very detailed. He is painted in his brown vest and pants, yellow shirt, and he includes an acrylic figure stand.
Overall:
This is an excellent line-up from Diamond Select Toys and the quality of these 2″ figures and attention to detail is superb. Each figure has their own unique likeness and each came out great.
