Mattel confirmed that their upcoming ThunderCats Third Earth Subscription is coming in 2016.
This year, you can expect the following:
- Lion-O (09/16)
- Jackalman (10/16)
- Pumyra (11/16)
- Panthro (12/16)
- Club-Exclusive: Mumm–Ra (11/16)
This shouldn’t come to a surprise to anyone that the first year will be available, and it looks as though Mattel is testing the waters on these to see how they do outside of the subscription on day-of sale. Previously, we were able to confirm that Mattel will be offering a ThunderCats San Diego Comic-Con 2016 exclusive figure, which will likely by Jaga, Ghost of Jaga, or Grune. Both Jaga and Grune were removed from the subscription shortly before New York ToyFair without explanation.
With the announcement of the subscription, Mattel says they will be sending confirmation emails for those of you that signed up. In addition, they will reach out to customers in August to make sure there aren’t any changes in your address, or credit card. The subscription launches in September with Lion-O.
