NJ Croce introduced the Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile to their bendable figures line last year, which is based on the 1966 Adam West series. This is the first Batmobile that NJ Croce introduced in the line, and they also will be introducing a Batman: The Animated Series Batmobile this April, which is also meant to be a display piece.
Thank you to NJ Croce for sending their Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile With Bendable Figures for review.
Availability: 2015
The 1966 Batmobile is scaled to 1:24, and measures 9 1/4″ long. It features two 3″ removable bendable figures of Batman and Robin that in are in the seated position, which are also based on the Classic series. Every bit of detail is accounted for including the windshield, logo’s on the sides, rear jets, front headlights, and there’s even the fire extinguisher adorned with the Bat-symbol.
Batman and Robin can be removed, but as they are sculpted in the seated position, we left them in the cockpit. They are securely positioned in the cockpit with a seatbelt. Both Batman and Robin are scaled just right and fit perfectly inside. The one drawback about this piece is that the wheels don’t move. This is because it’s a licensing agreement, and also this Batmobile is meant as a display piece only.
Overall:
The 1966 Batmobile is an excellent tribute to the classic series that fits well for any Batman collection.
Highly Recommended.
