Diamond Select Toys is offering some nice looking animated minimates based on Ultimate Spider-Man Web-Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Avengers Assemble on Disney XD. Each wave comes as four 2 packs, with an assortment of characters based on the three shows.
We also have some interesting news to share with you for anyone looking for any of these waves. Walgreens offers a store-to-store transfer option and will ship to any store even out of state. Were unable to find wave 1.5 at any Walgreens in a 30-4o radius and had inquired about this wave to Walgreens and Diamond Select Toys. It was DST Zach that had mentioned that his local Walgreens had this wave in his local store in Connecticut. So once we knew where it was, it was only figuring out how to obtain it. So we went to our local store in New York and spoke to the manager, and after he spoke to the other stores manager, he was able to get that store in CT to ship out the assortment to his store, and all we had to pay was the $7.99 for each two pack, and not the shipping fees (which was charged to the store). We are aware that other retailers offer store-to-store transfer, but not Walgreens. For those of you looking for any of these, at least this gives you another option to obtain them. In addition to this, Walgreens tells us that they will be offering these exclusives to more stores.

Overall:
The Marvel Animated Minimates are an excellent set and offers a wide-range of characters. We’re a bit picky when it comes down to minimates as our primary focus has been Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Nightmare Before Christmas, some Aliens, and some Marvel. These however are worth collecting if you are a fan of the animated shows on Disney XD. Obtaining some of these have been tricky however as not all Walgreens stores offer them, or have older waves clogging up shelf space and newer waves never arriving to that particular store. If you watch the shows, then you should also try to obtain these.
