Buffalo Comicon is taking place this weekend at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center located at 153 Franklin St, Buffalo, NY 14202. ToyHypeUSA was on hand this morning checking out the show and already this show keeps growing each year.
The dealer room consisting of thousands of new and vintage toys and comics books available to purchase. Among this are original art from some of the industry’s most talented artists. One item that we had purchased was one of ten pieces of a Stan Lee commissioned artwork drawn by Kurt Lehner. There were two different versions of this, one with a Chicago Convention logo, and one with a Toronto convention logo. Both masterpieces featured Stan Lee with heads of dozens of Marvel characters around him. There was even a third variation with the Invisible Woman unseen next to Reed Richards. Photo’s were not allowed of artwork. If you are attending the show, make sure to drop by his table and check out the artwork.
Over the weekend, the show will be hosting raffles, costume contests, Saturday and Sunday Panels, Robocop and Police Car Prop Replica (images below), and more.
The organizers of the show truly thought of everything, and there is even signage to help you find a particular table, artist, or television and movie celebrity.
