Jada Toys will be offering four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Metals Die-Cast Keychain Figures in 2017. These keychain figures are currently unreleased and have not been officially announced as of yet. With the successful launch of their Metals Die-Cast figures, Jada Toys is now expanding the line to the 2″ figure scale with a keychain attached. With the growing popularity of this line in just a few months since the line officially launched, Jada Toys is now offering keychains with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles being the first of their current licenses to go this route. Each of the keychains have a ball jointed head, with a non-articulated body and non-removable weapons located on the back of their shells. The quality and detail of each of the keychain figures is top notch and the design team at Jada is truly doing a great job with each new release that we’ve seen. One thing is for sure, these Metals Die-Cast figures will be around for years to come.

The upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Metals Die-Cast Keychains are 2″ tall and are scaled down compared to the 4″ Metals Die-Cast figures currently out on shelves. Each figure is based on the classic 1988 animated series and is inspired with the animated look, deco, and design of the series. Each figure has a ball jointed head, and the body is non-articulated. On their belts are the first letter of their name and each has a different colored bandana as seen in the show, and each comes with their iconic accessories that are also non-removable and sculpted to the back of their shells. The figures are made out of die-cast and plastic parts, with their heads and accessories being plastic, and the body made out of die-cast.
Each turtles also has a different facial expression, that also mimics the larger 4″ figure. Leonardo has a open grin on his left side, Raphael has an open grin on both sides with the middle of his mouth closed, Donatello has a open grin on his right side, and the goofy Michelangelo has an open mouth with his tongue visible. All four of the Turtles are also painted in the same shade of green, as well as the same shade of yellow on their chest, green on their shells, and brown on their belts.
Overall:
Jada Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line and other licenses are hot right now, and this style brings fans a highly detailed Metal Die-Cast figure for a very reasonable price. The Keychains are no exception, and are sculpted, painted, and designed extremely well and have a great likeness to the animated series.
The only thing we would change is to sculpt Raphael’s sais in front to better match the animated series. As these are keychains, Jada Toys made the right call not to have their accessories be removable, as they could have fallen off and get lost. Turtles fans are going to love these!
