McFarlane Toys latest The Walking Dead 5″ Sasha figure is currently shipping to Walgreens stores. Sasha is based on the television series from Season 7. The figure was created using digital 3D scanning technology of Actress Sonequa Martin-Green. Sasha is a Walgreens exclusive, and is one of only a handful of 5″ figures to see release this year by McFarlane Toys.
For those of you looking for more 5″ figures to see release, make sure you are doing your part by supporting what you see now, which tells retailers and McFarlane Toys that there is still enough fan support in this line. McFarlane tells us that they can only continue this scale if enough people are supporting it.

Sasha is based on the seventh season of the AMC The Walking Dead series, and is shorter than most other figures standing at about 4 1/2″ tall. The head sculpt is extremely well done and captures Sasha’s likeness thanks to 3D scanning technology. Every aspect about the head captures Sasha, including the short black hair that is tied in several pony tails at the back. Her sweat shirt is painted in a dark grey, and features sculpted texture. Sculpted over the sweat shirt are two shoulder straps that are connected to a strap that goes down her back, which is also connected to her belt with a small removable bag on her back. Attached to the belt is a sheath for her knife that is painted in black, and hangs on the right hip. Her jeans include wrinkles that make them look realistic, which are painted in blue. Around her right thigh is a holster for her pistol. Sculpted to her calves are two long black socks with sculpted texture, with brown boots with details such as shoe laces.
Included is a scoped assault rifle, pistol and a knife. Her articulation is the same as previously released 5″ figures, which includes a ball jointed neck, ball hinged shoulders, hinged-swivel elbows, ball jointed wrists, hinged-swivel hips, hinged knees, and swivel boots.
Overall, Sasha is an excellent figure, and fans will finally be able to finish off the core members of the Atlanta group.
