Hasbro Marvel Legends 6″ Marvel Knights Bullseye Figure Review

Hasbro has finally given what fans have been clamoring for since the arrival of Netflix’s Marvel series, branded as the Marvel Knights series with a Man Thing as the build-a-figure.  The series includes MCU Daredevil, MCU Punisher, MCU Jessica Jones, MCU Elektra, Blade and Bullseye; all packed with a piece to build a hulking sized Man Thing.

Bullseye is a slightly insane and sadistic assassin / mercenary that very little is known about mostly because everything he says is probably a lie. Primarily known as a Daredevil villain, Bullseye killed Elektra because she was hired by the Kingpin as his replacement while he was imprisoned. Subsequently, during a battle, Daredevil let Bullseyes fall to his death, which he survived, though his spine was shattered. Bullseye’s bones were repair by lacing them with adamantium, which allowed him to resume his campaign against Daredevil.

Bullseye debuted in 1976 in Daredevil #131. He stands just at 6.25″ tall. This figure is based off his signature look for which he is known for.

Bullseye has pretty clean paint job with only minor blemish (at least on my figure). He comes with a removable belt, knife sheath and gun hostler of which his knife and gun fit snugly.  Also included with this figure is an alternative unmasked head (baring the scare of a bullseye on his forehead that Daredevil had carved into his head) and two left hands (one pointing like a gun and the other with 3 kunai attached with clear plastic to give the appearance that they are being thrown) . His comes with the right arm to Man Thing for his build-a-figure piece.
Bulleye is in his navy blue and white costume and has no shading to speak of. His head is sculpted nicely with a missing tooth and it’s worth noting that the bulls-eye on his forehead is sculpted not just painted on, this is true for both heads. Bullseye utilizes the same body, arm and legs used to make Sunfire.

Bullseye has the more then the average amount of articulation with the added butterfly hinged shoulders. His articulation includes a ball jointed neck, ball jointed butterfly hinged shoulders, bicep swivel, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ab crunch chest, ball jointed hips with limited range of motion, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, boot cut swivel and swivel-hinged ankles. This figure is ideal for dynamic posing.

Bullseye was one of those figures ToyBiz made that I was pretty pleased with at the time of his release. I would have to say I still love for that figure, specifically the head, boots, gloves, and of course the amazing paint detail / shading of the original ToyBiz figure, but having him next to the Hasbro release I realize how out of proportion and lanky the Toybiz figure was. As an added bonus you can use the alternative head and place it on your Hawkeye figure (All Father Wave) to recreate Bullseye as a Dark Avenger. My final conclusion is the Hasbro release is clearly the better figure.
