DC Collectibles upcoming DC Icons single pack offerings include Nightwing and Supergirl. As of now, there are only a handful of single packaging Icons figures going to be offered after the announced cancellation of other figures such as Shazam, Sinestro, and Deadshot. However, the Blue Beetle and Booster Gold 2 pack is still coming.
Nightwing is not available just yet, and this is an advance look at this upcoming figure that is shipping sometime in September 2017.
Nightwing is numbered as 24 of the line, and is based on his appearance as seen in the Batman Hush storyline. This is a 12-part story that introduces the villain Hush. The story was published in issue #608–619 in December 2002 until November 2003. The story depicts a mysterious stalker called Hush, who seems intent on sabotaging Batman from afar, and it includes a large number of guest appearances by Batman villains, as well as various members of the Batman Family and Batman’s close ally Superman. It also explores the romantic potential between Batman and Catwoman.

Nightwing stands at 6″ tall and is based upon his appearance as seen in the Batman: Hush storyline. Nightwing is sculpted in his black and blue outfit, with the blue deco having metallic deco, and the black customs is matte, while the boots are metallic. The head sculpt has a great likeness to the comic, with the mask being painted in metallic black deco, and the hair includes texture and nicely sculpted details. The articulation is what you would expect, and he includes a ball jointed neck, ball-hinged shoulders, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball jointed chest, ab crunch, ball jointed hips, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, and hinged rocker ankles.
Originally, the figure was previewed by DC Collectibles to include 2 batarangs, but this accessory was replaced by a batarang attached to a string to allow him to climb a wall. Also included are three sets of interchangeable hand sculpts, (fisted, and 2 sets of open handed fists), and 2 batons.
Overall, Nightwing features a great likeness to the comic that fans will love.
