Playmates Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2017 basic 5″ figures have been difficult to find this year depending on which character you are looking for. We’re gotten many readers questions about availability of the figures this year, and it’s been hard to keep up on that. There have been some great characters released this year, such as Muckman, Usagi Yojimbo, Monsters + Mutants, 80’s Bebop and Rocksteady, and many others that have proven to be difficult to find. With these packed as 1 per case, and stores taking weeks to restock, if they even bother doing, many fans have been unable to locate these in stores, and had to resort to overpaying through a third-party seller. This isn’t something we recommend, and we’re hoping that 2018 is an easier year to find the new figures.
A new pre-order has opened up on Entertainment Earth for an assortment of some of these figures that you might be looking for. This includes Usagi Yojimbo, Crimson Leader, the Samurai Turtles, and some of the re-deco figures that you might have missed. The case assortment is priced at $169.99, and is set to ship in October 2017. Depending on how many figures you are looking for, it might be worth getting this case, and selling off what you don’t want.
