The Subway Train measures roughly 20 1/4″ long by 12″ width by 10″ in height, and features a realistic style artwork with sliding doors on either side. The outer sides with the doors and window are opposite to each other, and are adjacent to each other on the inside. The deco on the outer train includes a silver shine, with black lies and deco making it look dirty. The outer part of the train includes the number 0730, with the words Extreme-Sets above the windows.

The inside of the train includes realistic step deco ending yellow, grey, white and silver deco on the walls and ceiling, and marble style black and white deco on the floor. The artwork includes Captain America’s shield, and a subway emergency instructions on the back wall, which is located on either side of the door that is drawn on. In addition, there is the number 0730, along with posters and additional detail throughout the design. Above the windows, there are advertisements, including one for BigBadToyStore. The seats are separate pieces that fold up as shown, and have a light blue and white deco, with vents on the bottom. The windows are made of transparent plastic, and are lightly glued on. It is easy for them to fall off, so you may have a glue them back on. The doors slide open and close, and have the clear plastic widows. The doors are on the fragile side, and can fall out of the grooves.

The front of the train includes headlights, blue windows, and additional details depicting the likeness of an actual subway train. The back has a hole, with trim around it letting you place figures inside.

Putting this together was a little challenging, and without clear instructions, we found the only way to do it was to use images from Extreme-Sets.com and try to figure this out. The inside and outside details of the train are two separate pieces, with velcro on the backs to attach it together, and fold it into what you see below. Additional pieces such as the doors, seats, front and back needed to be inserted into the slots, and the front and back pieces also require the placement of two pieces back to back. It’s a tight fit, and we found that the use of a little tape over by the doors helped a lot with getting everything to stay together.

The set is scaled to 1:12, or 6″ action figures including Marvel Legends, DC, NECA Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Mythic Legions, and any other line in this scale. Most figures can be seated, with the exception of figures with capes or a large backpack.

Overall, this is an amazing set with superior realistic deco. The sky is the limit with display options, and the train works well with the terminal pop-up diorama.
