The Asylum Pop Up by Extreme-Sets includes multiple pieces allowing for an almost endless amount of display options between each cardboard wall sheet, columns, and flooring. Each main panel is 12″ in height, and about 20″ wide. The set features two double sided door panels that open and close for the most part, allowing figures to pass through into another room that you design. Each panel (with the exception of the door panels and flooring) connects to each other as seen with previous sets. The panels feature windows, a jail cell with real prison bar that is one sided, a panel that reads Ha! Ha! Ha! that’s a great setup for the Joker, vents, and two of the panels have the doors.
The detailed artwork really brings out the best of Extreme-Sets, as they continue to roll out such great realistic looking designs in all of their sets. The Asylum allows a great set up for realistic looking figures, such as action figures made by NECA Toys. The detailed artwork is painted mostly in grey and black on the walls and flooring, blue deco on the windows, and some beige deco on the doors. The floors have some great detail like the walls, but can also warp as they have thinner cardboard than previous sets. You might need to tack these down to keep the floors flat. The pillars are straight forward to assemble and make a nice addition to the display. The pillars give the room some depth, allowing you to place them anywhere in the room at your discretion.
Overall, this is an amazing set with superior realistic deco. This has almost endless amounts of display options with all of the walls, pillars and flooring that is included, and makes a great addition for display as well as to enhance your photography.
