DC Collectibles is offering a new Harley Quinn statue that is based on the DC Rebirth Harley Quinn #1 Legacy Edition Comic Book cover by Stanley Lau. This statue is limited to 5,000 pieces worldwide, and is made of poly resin. The comic series is part of the DC Rebirth, which was a re-launch of the comics that DC Comics offered to bring in new readers, and this title first hit comic shelves in 2016.

Harley Quinn is based on her appearance as seen in Harley Quinn #1 Legacy Edition Comic Book cover variant, and based on her design by Stanley Lau. The statue measures roughly 7 1/2″ tall from the bottom of the base to the top of her head, and is made of poly resin.
Harley Quinn is sculpted blowing a kiss of diamonds, with her left palm is facing up with the fingers pointing away, and the diamond is attached to her wrist. The diamond is made of translucent red, and stands out especially when it touches light. She is painted with red, white and black, with red and black making up her outfit, including her jacket, tank top, shorts, stockings and sneakers, and white on her hair, face, skin and parts of her sneakers. The jacket is painted half in black, and half in red, with opposite deco on either side. The jacket is sculpted with wrinkles on the sleeves, to showcase a realistic pose. Her tank top is tight to her body, with half black and the other half red, and opposite the sides of the jacket. The tank top includes a red star on the black side, and a light grey diamond shaped zipper that rests on top. Her shorts are cut very short, and she has a belt around it with a belt buckle in the shape of a star.
Her stockings are painted in opposite to each other, and features a texture to it. On the knee pads, are red and black diamonds, that is sculpted and painted. Her sneakers are also opposite to each other, and the red and black deco is nicely done and detail. Everything including the shoelaces, red and black balls, and even the white around the bottom and front of the sneakers is nicely sculpted and painted.
Harley Quinn’s facial sculpt has an excellent likeness to the comic, and is painted mostly in white, with some black and red deco around the eyes, lips, head bands, and there is even red and black deco on the ponytails and bangs. Around her neck is a black collar with a grey heart.
Harley Quinn stands on a logo base that has the same style of lettering as the comic book, with the red, white and black text. On the bottom of the base, is the number of pieces in the series, which states as AP01, or Artist Proof 01 of 5,000. The artist proof is not part of the original run, and is something that DC Collectibles offered to us for review.
Overall, Harley Quinn features an excellent likeness to the comic book series, with a great sculpt, deco and excellent quality. Fans of the comic series, and DC Comics enthusiasts will definitely want to check out this statue among others.
