The Elevator Hallway Pop-Up Diorama are made up of hallway(s) of either a rundown hotel or apartment building, as well as a 3D elevator with opening doors. It has a lot of details on the walls, which includes graffiti, damage, cracks, dirt, and other substances that gives this set a realistic look to it. This hotel/apartment building also a haunted vibe to it given the fact that the walls are in such bad shape and almost feels like a haunted house as some of their other sets have also been featured like this. Each of the panels/walls includes an opening door that is numbered as 20, 21, 22, and 23, and the set also comes with a shorter wall without a door. Each wall can be connected to each other, as well as the shorter wall or the frame (wall) around the elevator. There are a total of four panels/walls included with a door on each, but each panel has a different style of damage to it that goes along with the different number on the door.

The shorter wall is meant to be a divider between the rooms and is best displayed as facing you. This wall also has some damage, but not as much as the other walls. There is also a frame wall for the elevator, with a removable insert of a wall that is replaced by the elevator. This frame wall becomes part of the surroundings of the elevator on either side or it, and serves as the connector wall for the other panels. There are also three floors that appears to be carpeting, with black and dark gray deco as the primary colors. This set can be displayed as many different ways as featured below, with more options as shown on the Extreme-Sets website. With that, three pieces of flooring doesn’t cover every possible variation of displays that can be creating with all of the panels and the elevator. But it does cover it enough especially for smaller set ups.

The 3D Elevator is what truly makes this set look great, and this is made-up of two panels, with one making up the interior, and the other the exterior. The interior of the elevator includes light brown walls with silver handles, along with dirt around the edges and parts of the walls as well. The tile flooring includes footprints, dirt on the edges, and black drops of paint or something similar. The ceiling is made up of four pieces of tile, with dirt around the edges that matches the walls. On the wall facing the pack includes an elevator button and other controls, which you cannot see as it’s facing away from you. The exterior of the elevator includes an up and down button on the left side, as well as an indicator on top letting you know which direction that the elevator is going.  The walls are dirty on all sides, but none of this you can see as the frame wall covers the sides and top of the elevator. The elevator measures 7″ x 7″ x 10″ height, and large enough to hold multiple figures if you choose. The doors can slide in and out and are separate pieces, but sliding them with the frame attached isn’t possible as the frame does get in the way.

Overall, Extreme-Sets has once again captured an excellent display and diorama. This is an amazing set with superior detail and design. The functioning elevator is what makes this set stand out compared to the other sets similar to it, and gives toy photographers more options to display and showcase their collection.
