DC Master Toy License Moves To Spin Master In 2020 Official Press Release

On December 13th, we broke the news that the DC brand will be moving over to Spin Master almost two weeks before anyone else reported this, which means that Mattel won’t be offering DC figures after 2019. We reported that the Batman Missions line is ending now according to our sources, and that DC Multiverse, after getting back on track, will end in 2019. As of right now, only the DC Monster Jam Trucks will immediately move over to Spin Master as of January 2019, and other lines, with the exception of DC Imaginext and Super Hero Girls, will move over to Spin Master in or around January 2020, at least that’s from what we’ve heard. We hope to have more information at New York ToyFair 2019.

Not Mattel or Spin Master related, we also heard that Hasbro’s Marvel and Star Wars licenses are up as of January 2020, which means that Disney could either renew or pass the licenses to someone else, or take up the mantle themselves and offer Marvel and Star Wars figures. Just like what they’re doing with the Star Wars Elite Die Cast and Toy Box figures. More on this to come.
