Once in awhile, we receive something very special that’s outside the box thinking from the toy companies that we work with, and this new Fortnite Chest by Jazwares is definitely something we did not expect coming. This chest is entirely made of cardboard, folded up, and massive in size. This chest was sent out as part of the special packaging given out to their valued press partners and they packed it with many of their Fortnite offerings currently on store shelves and available online.

Fortnite is an online video game that is currently popular with kids, teens and gamers that was first introduced in 2017, and has gained in popularity since then. The game modes include Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative shooter-survival game for up to four players to fight off zombie-like creatures and defend objects with fortifications they can build, Fortnite Battle Royale, a free-to-play battle royale game where up to 100 players fight to be the last person standing, and Fortnite Creative, where players are given complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas.
The Fortnite chest is filled with treasures in the online game in the Battle Royale game mode. In the game, chests are scattered around the map, and interacting with a chest causes it to be looted, spreading the contents on the ground to be picked up.
This chest sent over by Jazwares is made out of cardboard and they have gone all out by filling it with many of their Fortnite action figures and toys currently on store shelves. The chest came in a much larger shipping box, and carefully packeded to keep the chest safe in shipping. The chest has a realistic size to it, and measures approximately 20″ height, 23″ width and 20″ in depth. This is an incredible piece or art, as the top of it is wider than the bottom just like in the game, and it also has a key hole, handles made of cardboard on either side, and it opens up to reveal all the goodies inside. The artwork used resembles wood and metal just like a real chest would have. The grey components on the chest resembles the metal, and the brown appears to be rust on it as well. The wood colors used are nicely done with the brown and yellow tones, and everything looks realistic to the game.
The chest opens up, and inside is where Jazwares stuffed it with great review products for us. Next week, we’ll begin digging into this and reviewing each of the toys inside, but we wanted to give you a look at this spectacular chest as it just astonishes us with the care and attention to detail that Jazwares went into here. You can tell that the team working on this are passionate about the game, toys and product appearance, which is why you see such a great toyline offered by Jazwares. Presentation is everything, and Jazwares has knocked this out of the park!
Inside the chest, they put in the Fortnite Liama Drama Loot Pinata, Squad Mode 4 Figure Pack, Turbo Builder Set 2 Figure Pack, Fortnite Loot Chest (Style E), Liama plush toy, Omega Early Game Survival Kit 4″ Figure, Drift 4″ Figure, and Carbide 4″ Figure. All of the toys fit inside nicely with a little room to spare for other things.
Overall, the chest and all of these great toys is more than we were expecting, and Jazwares has done an incredible job on these. We’ve noticed that kids are very into these figures right now as we’ve personally seen while browsing the toy aisles. This is surely a popular toyline right now and for good reason, as the figures and other offerings feature great game likenesses and excellent detail. The 4″ figure scale works well for this brand, especially for playsets like the Turbo Builder Set currently available. Fans of the Fortnite online game will love this line, so make sure to check these out today.
