Super7 NYTF 2019 – Masters Of The Universe Classics, Snake Mountain Update & More (Update)

Super7 has dropped some big surprises this year for attendees at New York ToyFair. First, the pre-order for Snake Mountain kicks off in May 2019. We have not discussed further details with Super7, but will do so tomorrow and try to get as much information on this as we can.

Look for pre-orders of the ReAction figures and more on Entertainment EarthBigBadToyStore and Megalopolis: City Of Collectibles.

Some new waves of Masters of the Universe Classics are shown, including an all movie inspired line. They are also showing new line-ups of the vintage-inspired line, which includes Evil Lyn, Stratos, Shadow Weaver, Orko, Buzz Off, Evil Seed, and a new version of He-Man and Orko.

The Masters of the Universe ReAction figures are going to be offered as blind-boxes, and are priced at $9.99 each. There will also be single carded figures for $14.99, and a new wave is on display. This includes several variations of Modulok as shown.

Some new licenses for ReAction are shown, including They Live, and Super7 is the ONLY company to offer Rowdy Piper as a figure in this movie.

Toxic Crusader is offered in Classics style that is similar to the He-Man line.

A Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figure announcement was made in a form of a card in the display.

Update 2-19 9:29 am EST – We were able to talk with Super7 about the products on display this year at their booth and have some updates to what we are showing in the gallery.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles license allows them to make anything they want – figures, tee shirts, and whatever they can think of! There will be Classics type figures that are similar to MOTUC and these will also be sculpted by the Four Horsemen. They will offered as subscriptions, as will Voltron and Toxic Crusader.

The MOTU ReAction blind boxes are inspired by the animated colors, and the chase figures use deco that Super7 created just for this release, and are not inspired by anything.

MOTUC Roboto won’t have working gears, Modulok has interchangeable neck pieces so you can have two heads, or one head on the body. No extra heads are offered.

Snake Mountain will be priced at $600-$700 USD, with payment plans stretched to 6 months. This will ship in a similar way that Castle Grayskull was shipped with a heavy duty cardboard box, along with packaging. This is set for a May 2019 pre-order.
