Extreme-Sets continues to off such incredible dioramas made out of cardboard that enhance your photography and action figure displays, which are geared towards the 6″-7″ figures. If you are a collector of 4″ figures, they announced a few new sets that you can now use for those scale. The Cave pays a homage to Batman, but can also be used for any variety of figures such as a S.H.I.E.L.D. outpost or anything you can imagine.

The Cave includes 5 panels of artwork to look like rocks that are dark grey and black, which is what you would see in a dark cave. Three of the panels have computer screens, which have views of Earth and other images that can be used for meetings such as tactical, defensive, or whatever it is you wish to pretend. There are also 2 3D tables that go under the scenes, and one of them has a keyboard. The computer scenes are done by a digital artist and have a realistic look to it.

The Cave also includes a 3D Suit Display (such as a Batman figure or Iron Man suit of armor) that can hold one figure inside. This piece can be placed anywhere you like, and works best against the wall. The floor is the largest panel, and has a circular artwork design to place a vehicle such as the Batmobile (6″ scale works best, and for the gallery we used the one from DC Collectibles in the Batman: The Animated Series line). The vehicle fits well with the set, and you still have plenty of room around it to place figures and whatever else you like.

There is one piece of panel that has a cut through hold it in, and serves as a doorway to the Cave. This piece can be used to photograph figures from a distance and used as an entrance for figures only (6″ scale vehicles are too large to fit through this opening).

Overall, the Cave is one of the most in-depth and realistic sets offered in the latest wave. The most detailed aspect about this set are the computer screens, and given the size of it (38″ wide x 28″ deep according to the official details), you can have more than enough room to place dozens if not more figures on it.
