Last year, Hasbro revealed that they have acquired the Power Rangers brand and will be offering product beginning in 2019, which was shown at New York ToyFair. At the event, Hasbro had shown off some of their new 6″ action figures in both the Lightning Collection and basic lines, Zoids, and roll play toys that are currently available in stores and select online retailers.

Hasbro’s new Power Rangers line-up kicks off with new 6″ basic figures that are currently on store shelves, which as you can see above, these have less articulation and shorter than the Lightning Collection. This assortment includes the Blue Ranger, Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Cybervillain Blaze, and Tronic to round out the first wave. The Beast X Morpher X roll play toy, also shown in the gallery, can be activated by inserting the keys that comes with these figures.
Also included in this PR box are the new 10″ Beast Morphers Zord figure, which includes accessories. The Cheetah Beast Blaster is a Nerf offering that shoots foam darts, and the Beast X Morpher X roll play toy, as mentioned above, can be placed on a kids or adults wrist.
The Micro Morphers blind-bag assortment first wave includes 16 figures, and in this case we had received a duplicate of the Red Ranger, Burnertron, and Drilltron. The exact ratio is unclear, but since we received duplicates in two different bags, it would imply that finding a complete set will be harder than expected.
Finally, there are four new offerings in the Micro Morphers Zords line, and each one comes with two figures that are not part of the blind bag assortment, and in this instance we also received two additional bags with swords for him to hold that was inside the box. The Zoids come with three sticker sheets, which you can customize and each needs to be applied to the figure. He also features an opening chest plate and up to two figures can be placed on the platform when the chest if opened. These figures can also be stored inside as there is plenty of room.
Overall, the kickoff Power Rangers line offers something for everyone and we are especially fond of the 6″ figure assortments. Depending on what you like, fans can expect some great collectibles that are currently on store shelves, as well as available from our valued partners below:
