Super7 SDCC 2019 – ThunderCats Classics Makes Triumphant Return

In what’s probably going to be the biggest news coming from San Diego Comic-Con, Super7’s own Brian Flynn confirmed that ThunderCats Classics will be making a return at some point in the near future. Both Jaga and Grune are in the back of the Super7 booth, and Super7 is unable to show the figures at this time. Jaga and Grune were both shown off at last years Power-Con at the Mattel booth, and were both originally planned back in 2016 when Mattel was offering ThunderCats Classics, but were cut from the line without an explanation.

Super7 will hopefully have the figures out at some point this week, or during Power-Con next month. Besides Jaga and Grune, we know that Mattel was planning on releasing more characters besides the season 1 characters, such as the Lunatanks, as well as the Thundertank, which could still see the light of day as both Super7 and the Four Horsemen are such big fans of the franchise. More to come on this when available.
