Jazwares continues their Fortnite 6″ Legendary Series figures with new offerings that include Valkyrie, Raven, Molten Battle Hound and Peely that are available now. The Molten Battle Hound is an outfit from the Lava Legends set in the game, and this character is an update form the original Battle Hound skin that has been dipped in lava, which is why you see flames coming out of his head and a flame design symbol on his chest.

Each figure is packaged on a window box with a blister card in the back. The window is seen on the front and sides and shows Havoc, his accessories, and around it is artwork including logos, character design from the game, and the back showcases the character with all of series 2 below him.
Molten Battle Hound is part of the Lava Legends set in the game and features one of the best sculpts offered in the line so far. His head sculpt looks metal with a metallic silver head with sculpted fur and great attention to detail on the mouth, which has a flame coming out of it as well as the top of his head. The eye ball look to be stickers just put on as opposed to being sculpted, which still looks good but it’s not as detailed as as a great looking figure should be that has sculpted and painted eyes.
The figure is dressed in a knights armor, with a dark brown, black and metallic silver painted design and nicely done sculpted details on the armor, such as the silver deco highlighting some of it around the edges, chest harness and the sides of his vest. The area around his hips are made of a soft plastic to allow the articulation of the hips to move better, and on his chest is. afire design with the face of a hound. His left shoulder has a nicely sculpted and textured piece of armor that knights would wear under their armor for extra protection. His right arm also has a tattoo pattern going down the center, and he also has a black ribbon on that arm, and both his hands and forearms are gloved with his fingers showing through. His legs are given black pants with brown straps on the right leg, and the boots are nicely detailed with shin guards and a light grey fur detail around the back. On top of his chest is a short black cape that is wrapped around his neck, with a silver buckle in the front. The Molten Crested Cape back bling plugs into the back and also has the silver buckles and fire hound design.
Included with the Molten Battle Hound is a Silver Fang harvesting tool, Molten Crested Cape back bling, Tactical Assault Rifle, Tactical Submachine Gun, and Revolver weapons, Med Kit and Hop Rock consumables accessories.
The articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, hinged fingers, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes.
Overall, the Molten Battle Hound is an excellent figure and a great character to add to your collection. The overall design is astonishing and this is one of the best detailed figures offered in this line so far in the 6″ scale. Jazwares continues to offer such great Fortnite characters and the quality of the figures are superb. What is also great about this line is that collectors have been buying these just because these are great toys, even if they never played the Fortnite game.
