Go Bananas
Peely is one of the most popular characters right now and it turns out that everyone loves a banana that’s humanoid with arms, legs and a face. He seems to be on the top of everyone’s list and for great reason, as he’s just a fun looking figure and you normally don’t see fruit that’s combat ready with accessories. In the game, Peely starts out green but ripening overtime to become yellow, just like a real banana. There is even a Peely Bone Rises (zombified version) variation with the left half of his body with his bones and intestines showing, and we’re hoping to see this version made into a figure someday. Other variations include the P-1000, which is a mechanical version.

Each figure is packaged on a window box with a blister card in the back. The window is seen on the front and sides and shows Havoc, his accessories, and around it is artwork including logos, character design from the game, and the back showcases the character with others below him.
Peely stands at 7″ tall and has the appearance of a banana as seen in the Fortnite game, and he is part of the Banana Bunch set. The figure has the body of a banana with some bruises showing in a light brown wash on the top and bottom part of the body. The top includes a stem that is brown, with the sides being peeled to show the inside as if he were a real banana. Peely also has humanoid arms and legs, with bruises highlighted in brown deco on the elbows, knees, and the bottom of his feet has a shoe attached.
His three interchangeable portraits give him a distinct look that is also different than the one from the 4″ figure as shown above (we actually just came across the 4″ figure late last week and just in time for this review). Just like other figures in this line, the faces come off and you can switch them out anyway you want, and use any accessories you want with it. The 4″ figure only has the one face that is not removable.
Peely includes a Machete harvesting tool, Banana Bag back bling, Pump Shotgun, Infantry Rifle, and a mushroom consumable. The Banana back bling has tiny bananas, which is a nice touch. The shotgun and rifle are difficult to get him to hold onto, especially with both hands due to how his fingers are constructed.
The articulation includes ball hinged and rocker shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, hinged fingers, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes.
Overall, Peely is an excellent figure and a great character to add to your collection. The overall design is astonishing and this is one of the best detailed figures offered in this line so far in the 6″ scale. Jazwares continues to offer such great Fortnite characters and the quality of the figures are superb. What is also great about this line is that collectors have been buying these just because these are great toys, even if they never played the Fortnite game.
