Nickel City Con has cancelled their show indefinitely this year following the outbreak of the Coronavirus, which is effecting everyone. At this years show, we were going to debut the site in Buffalo, NY, as well as new online toy store – Boop Toys, which offers some great deals on older toys, as well as new pre-orders for 2020 releases, and we were going to carry something very special to sell at the booth, but these plans have been put on hiatus. As of right now, Nickel City, and every event with 50 or more people are being cancelled for everyone’s safety and health, and to keep the virus from spreading further.

We are sorry to announce that Nickel City Con scheduled for May 15-17 is indefinitely postponed for 2020.
This is not an easy decision to make, but based on CDC recommendations, New York State’s ban on events over 50 people and the growing number of coronavirus cases in WNY and Erie County, we believe that postponing the event is not only the obvious choice, but the right choice.
The safety and well-being of our attendees, vendors and staff is always our first priority. Nickel City Con is the cumulative work of many partners, groups, volunteers and individuals across WNY – there are far too many of you to thank here but please know that the Nickel City Con staff and Dave & Adam’s appreciate and are thankful for all you do to help make this event a success year in and year out. We could not do it without you.
