Jazwares is offering a new wave of their popular Fortnite Legendary Series 6″ figures, including Galaxy, Beef Boss, Sentinel and Ruin. Galaxy is one of the most detailed looking figures in the game, and this transition in the figure was done exceptionally well.
In the game, the Galaxy skin turns player’s character into a beautiful collage of stars, with a blue and purple cloudy background behind them. The Galaxy skin also makes the character’s hair turn a luminescent white color, while the character’s eyes turn a blue/white color, making them like an intergalactic ghost. The Galaxy skin comes complete with a blue shooting star trailing light around the character’s head. Galaxy was obtainable by purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S9 series or Samsung Galaxy Note 9, but as of this year he is no longer available in the game. It is also a noteworthy fact that the Hawk skin was used as the model for this skin, and that you can see the universe in this skin.

Galaxy is packaged on a window box with a blister card in the back. The window is seen on the front and sides, his accessories, and around it is artwork including logos, character design from the game, and the back showcases the character with other offerings below him.
Galaxy is one of the most eye appealing characters in the line right now due to high-end attention to detail on his paint applications. Galaxy has a several shades of light and dark metallic purple with shiny dots that indicate stars just as you would see looking up at the sky at night, and the stars in his sculpt give it a nice shine especially under light. The boots are cast in black, and the gloves are black with the fingers in a light metallic grey. This new deco is quite amazingly done on this figure, but in the game you see much more detail from the universe transitioned into the character’s design. Unless you know who Galaxy is, most people might not be able to tell these are stars and a universe just by looking at the figure.
The sculpt itself is mostly reused from Jonsey, such as the arms, hips, lower, scarf, and the chest piece and upper legs are retooled to give it a smooth finish. The chest piece but it keeps some details such as the harness and what is removed are the sculpted fold lines of the clothing and the pouch. The upper legs has the pouch removed, as well as the patch on his right hip, and straps on the left hip. At first glance, it’s hard to tell this is a Jonsey sculpt as the deco really changes the way you look at this figure.
Galaxy is given three unique interchangeable face portraits that swap out, and wash one has a purple deco with stars shining. The hair is done in a metallic silver, which includes the hair on his head, eye brows, beard and mustache, as well as his eyes.
Galaxy comes with the Stellar Axe harvesting tool, Galactic Disc back bling, Drum Gun, Hand Cannon, and a stick of Dynamite. He also has a shooting star piece that plugs into the back of his head, and the stars shoot around the front of his face.
The articulation includes a ball jointed head, ball hinged shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, hinged fingers, ball jointed torso, swivel waist, ball jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, hinged and rocker ankles, and hinged toes.
Overall, Galaxy is an excellent figure and a great character to add to your collection. The overall design and deco is astonishing and this is one of the best eye appealing figures offered in this line. Jazwares continues to offer such great Fortnite characters and the quality of the figures are superb. What is also great about this line is that collectors have been buying these just because these are great toys, even if they never played the Fortnite game.
